About
Enchanted Bijou's was started in the Fall of 2009 after an unexpected job loss. It was time to balance left and right brain activity so I soldered and created and signed up for every craft show that would have me. Now I try to balance an analytical job with my creative desires and do as many craft shows as I can fit into my life. "Enchanted" was inspired by the legendary Stevie Nicks and "Bijou" is from the French, meaning a jewel or something small, delicate and exquisitely wrought.
I have a huge passion for glass and wire so this is where most of my work comes from. I dabbled in stained glass and decided I wanted to bring that down to a smaller scale, a wear-able one. I work primarily with beads and solid solder now, but my work is venturing into liquid solder and mixing different media to create unique one of a kind pieces. There are many more pieces, styles and designs than are on this site. This is a sampling. If you see something you like or are interested in custom work I am thrilled to create something for you.

April 2 & 3 2011 Starving Artist Art Show for the Little Church of La Villita's fundraiser featuring work by more than 100 artists including paintings, ceramics, photography and handmade jewelry, is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the park behind the San Antonio Housing Authority offices at 818 S. Flores St.~ 10% of proceeds go to the Little Church to feed the poor of San Antonio.
